FOUR chicken eggs today and one duck egg.  SO, there's two more hens that have decided to get with it.  They laid two eggs in box #1 and two eggs in box #10.  They all looked different, so it's definitely two more hens.

I was so tickled about my hens laying those eggs that I shared them with Merlin, Maezee, and Jewel.

Tonight at closing time, only the ducks were left to put up.  I cleaned out all the laying boxes today and put fresh bedding down.  The hens knew this already because they are so nosy and they came in to see what I was up to.  SO, they wanted to make sure they got a prime spot, no doubts!

The garden is far enough along now that we've been letting the pack in there to run.  Merlin, Maezee, and Jewel have just about made a race track out of it.  They love the tomato obstacle course!  Poor little Maezee runs as fast as her little legs will take her, and Jewel still catches her tail.

Merlin, always the Frisbee.  But, he has started putting his own style to his catches!  He rears straight up like a horse and BAM catches that thing.  Most of the time.
