Three chicken eggs in top box #1, four chicken eggs in middle box #1, and two chicken eggs in middle box #10!  NINE chicken eggs today!  I think they're on the mend from this molt.  Three duck eggs, two were under the nesting boxes, mallards, under box #10.  Right where Mrs Mallard used to lay hers.  The other one was cream colored, could be Indian Runner, could be Welsh Harlequin, right in the middle of the floor.

Speaking of which, one of the Welsh's copped a little attitude with one of the Red hens today.  I've never seen anything like this out of any of the ducks!  She was chasing the hen, with her neck arched, and her wing feathers swung backwards behind her.  She sounded like she was cussing, too!  That Red hen ran straight to Chester, and the Welsh made a sharp turn back to her family.  Quite amazing since the Red's are the aggressive hens and the Welsh's are the tamest.  Makes me wonder what it was all about.

Merlin has a new Frisbee and it lights up.  Maezee was determined to swipe it and she eventually got what she wanted, while Jewel stood by and observed.

Nothing from the garden today.  I'm sure there's more tomatoes and potatoes, for another day.
