I bragged too soon.  ZERO eggs today!

One of the California Chicks decided to try the dog yard today.  Sam saved her.  I'm sure she was thankful.  She stayed way to the north the rest of the day and when I went to see about eggs she even followed me into the coop.  She may have learned a lesson, because she generally doesn't follow me anywhere unless I have a feed bucket in my hands.

Mowed the yard and the flock loves it when we do because it stirs up the bugs.  However, today I was mowing more feathers than grass.

It was a lazy dog day filled with puppy antics and walking through cob webs.
